Warehouse Material Controller

Using the relevant company and customer purchasing and inventory systems, as Materials Controller you will be responsible for ensuring that all materials are ordered and effectively managed within the required timescales, meeting internal and external customer requirements, specifications and schedules.Internal: Colleagues, Line manager, Support functionsExternal: Customers, Suppliers, Auditors, HMRC, Internal and external customer and supplier liaison, ensuring correspondence surrounding departmental tasks is communicated appropriatelyProcess all duty free and duty paid deliveries into the warehouse, ensuring documentation is controlled and maintained in line with departmental processesProcess orders and returns for both internal and external customers, ensuring documentation is controlled and filed appropriatelyManage all documentation and processes in line with HM Revenue & Customs, CAA and company requirementsManage and maintain all customer portals, including stock submissions and confirmations upon receiptKeep the operation informed on product issues and set up par levelsKeep HMRC updated on inventory status and ullage notificationsInvestigate delivery failures and implement corrective actionsCarry out stock takes as necessary and use information to manage ordering levels and prevent shortagesLiaise with operations regarding menu and product changes promptlyEnsure any quality issues are resolved with minimal customer impactEnsure period-end stock takes are completed and entered onto SAPEnsure all goods are received in line with due diligence and compliance targetsAudit deliveries to ensure compliance standards are met as defined by the Vendor Rating SystemMaintain security processes to safeguard equipment, personnel and stockUndertake "housekeeping" activities as requiredDesign, monitor and review plans to implement changes to customer requirementsReceipt deliveries and ensure correct stock rotation to prevent product expiryEnsure packing operatives have the correct stock availableExperience of leading a team of employees within a fast-moving and changing work environment such as FMCG, manufacturing or logisticsAbility to deliver within set targets with an understanding of cost and control managementAbility to solve problems, generate innovative solutions and make justified decisions that influence key stakeholdersStrong planning, organisation and delegation skills, with attention to detail and a logical approachAbility to multi-task in a pressured environment and work to tight deadlinesEffective communication skills - able to communicate at all levels with good verbal and written EnglishTeam player and role model who leads by exampleDriven to operate to the highest standards, especially during periods of changeDesirable driving licenceKnowledge of Excel and WordEvidence of behaviours aligned to company values #J-18808-Ljbffr
