About The Role As a Warehouse Controller at GSF Car Parts, you will motivate and lead a team of Warehouse Operatives. You will ensure stock delivers sales budgets and operational functions run smoothly. Main Duties
Manage the organisation and performance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control departments Pick and load van/carrier accurately for timely customer delivery when required Check stock quantities are correct against computer Use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles Ensure operational functions run smoothly and assist branch manager with holidays/sickness cover, preparing weekly plans, developing the team and working with drivers to ensure best delivery service for customers Create a positive and supportive environment where employees are valued and can reach their true potential
Working hours 45 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working. About You As the Warehouse Controller, you will have a great track record of managing a warehouse, ideally gained within a fast‑paced environment such as FMCG. What you'll need to succeed
Ability to motivate and lead a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good planning and organisational skills Ability to work calmly under pressure Customer and Sales focused Previous experience of use of MAM is desirable but not essential
