The main responsibilities of this role include organising the warehouse team's daily tasks and serving as a point of escalation for any queries about their day-to-day activities. To support and help the Company Directors with day-to-day operational responsibilities to ensure the business runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands on role and experience of working in a warehouse environment is essential. Operational Duties: Communicate with the Company Directors to discuss and organise tasks for the warehouse. Allocate work to warehouse team. Use the warehouse system to pick and pack orders of stair parts. Help plan for large consignments delivered to the 2 warehouse sites. Oversea and organise regular stocktakes of goods. Oversea and report KPIs Supervise the unloading, scanning into stock and the putting away of large containers of stock in both warehouse locations in a timely fashion. Oversea the weekly deliveries from our suppliers and manage the process. Re-order warehouse consumables and any related items such as packing materials. Ensure that low stock levels are reordered and/or reported to the appropriate colleague.
