Your new company This logistics company provides logistics services including road and rail transport, warehousing, and terminal management across Scotland and has been established for a number of years and works with some very prestigious clients in the industry. The Company provides integrated third-party logistics solutions including bonded and non-bonded warehousing and supply chain management to a number of blue-chip customers across Scotland and England. Your new role This role will work in collaboration with their clients' production facility. This is a key position within the site's management structure, responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse operations and maintaining high standards of stock control within a customer's manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of warehousing processes and procedures, with a practical appreciation of stock control. Clear communication, effective teamwork, and a keen eye for detail are essential attributes for success in this role. Ensure operations staff adhere to procedures, guidelines, and KPI targets. Distribute all relevant paperwork in advance, especially SAP-generated Transfer Orders. Ensure production is placed into authorised warehouse bins with accurate documentation.
