Position Summary We are seeking an organised, proactive, and safety-conscious Workshop & Parts Manager to lead and manage our clients' parts and warehouse operations based at their Hampshire headquarters. You will take full responsibility for stock control, spare parts procurement, warehouse safety, and logistics, ensuring seamless support to the engineering and operations teams. This is a hands-on role that requires solid experience in parts management, forklift operation, stock systems, and strong coordination with both internal teams and external suppliers. A focus on HSQE and safe handling of fluids, oils, and consumables is essential. Key Responsibilities Parts & Stock Control Manage incoming and outgoing parts and spares with full traceability and accuracy. Maintain stock levels using stock management software; conduct regular stock takes and reconcile discrepancies. Take ownership of ordering and re-ordering spare parts, tools, consumables, and fluids. Work closely with engineers to forecast part requirements and support urgent call-outs. Warehouse & Workshop Management Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, organising, and dispatching parts. Ensure that all workshop areas are clean, safe, and compliant with internal standards. Operate and maintain forklift trucks; assist in training others as required. Logistics & Purchasing Liaise with suppliers and vendors to source parts cost-effectively and ensure timely delivery. Work with procurement on negotiating terms, lead times, and bulk purchases. Arrange the delivery of parts to field engineers and support local logistics. HSQE Responsibilities Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) standards. Safely manage storage and handling of oils, fluids, and hazardous materials. Maintain COSHH data and participate in toolbox talks and safety audits. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with operations, field service, and projects teams to meet their parts and logistics needs. Support engineering scheduling by ensuring required parts are available in advance. Contribute to process improvement, cost tracking, and warehouse KPI reporting. Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience in a parts management, warehouse, or workshop coordination role Strong understanding of stock control, warehouse operations, and spare parts logistics Current or previous forklift license (counterbalance or reach) Hands-on experience with stock systems / inventory management software Basic HSQE awareness and experience handling oils, fluids, and technical components Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, and inventory spreadsheets Good organisational and time-management skills Full UK driving licence Desirable Qualifications Forklift training or certification (RTITB or equivalent) Manual Handling, First Aid, or Fire Marshal training Familiarity with engineering/CHP spares, M&E systems, or energy sector equipment Knowledge of COSHH regulations and fluid handling best practices What Our Client Offers Competitive salary based on experience Training and upskilling support (forklift renewal, HSQE training, etc.) Company pension and holiday benefits Opportunity to grow into a senior logistics or operations support role Stable, hands-on position at a key operational hub in Hampshire Working Environment On-site at our
