Warehouse Operative (Contract Duration 4-6 weeks)

Location: Bristol, UK - Long Ashton


About The Company

Working for a leading engineering company supplying in to the automotive and motorsport sectors.


The Role

As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a key role in the smooth running of the operations, ensuring that components, materials, and equipment are received, stored, and distributed efficiently to support their engineering and production teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries.
  • Picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring stock is stored safely and logically.
  • Supporting build teams by preparing and distributing parts.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
  • Assisting with periodic stock counts and audits.
  • Working closely with operations and engineering teams to support project delivery timelines.


About You

We’re looking for someone proactive, organised, and reliable who thrives in a fast-paced environment.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous warehouse, stores, or logistics experience.
  • Strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to use stock management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Forklift licence (counterbalance or reach) desirable but not essential.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
