Position: Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver to join our client within the logistics and distribution sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with both warehouse and FLT experience to work in a chilled storage environment, supporting day‑to‑day warehouse operations. The successful Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver will operate both Counterbalance and Reach trucks while also assisting with manual picking, sorting, and general warehouse duties.

Your Role as a Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver

As a Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver, your duties will include:

Operating Counterbalance and Reach FLT trucks safely Loading and unloading vehicles during shift hours, ensuring secure and compliant handling Performing manual handling tasks such as pallet breakdown and sorting customer orders Picking and preparing orders with high levels of accuracy Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment Completing essential paperwork and following warehouse procedures Reporting any issues or defects promptly Working inside a cold storage facility (full PPE provided)

Requirements

Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT experience (licence desirable but not always essential depending on client acceptance) Previous warehouse experience Ability to work in a cold‑store environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team Physically fit and able to complete manual tasks

Pay & Shifts

£12.88 per hour Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:30 Overtime paid at £16.10 per hour for any hours worked beyond 9 per day Enhanced weekend rates available
