We are seeking a reliable and motivated

Warehouse Operative

to join our team at the Melmerby branch. This is a crucial, hands-on role responsible for ensuring the accurate and safe flow of products through our distribution centre, from receiving to final dispatch. Key Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Operative, your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to: Order Fulfilment:

Accurately picking, packing, and collating products for all branch distribution needs.

Dispatch Preparation:

Wrapping and preparing pallets to ensure they are secure and ready for transport.

Loading & Unloading:

Safely loading and unloading delivery vehicles, checking for damaged or missing items during the process.

Stock Control:

Making sure all goods and raw materials are stored correctly and safely within the warehouse.

Manual Handling:

Performing general manual handling duties, which includes some

heavy lifting

.

Health & Safety:

Maintaining excellent general housekeeping and ensuring the workplace remains tidy and strictly adheres to all health and safety procedures.

Working Hours

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Time:

05:45am

13:45pm

Time: 14:00-22:00

Nights :18:00-02:00

Breaks:

Includes a 30-minute break.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Proven, previous experience working in a

warehouse environment

.

Advantageous:

Experience in operating

Material Handling Equipment (MHE)

.

Advantageous:

Experience working with

Forklift Trucks (FLT)

.
