Role:Stock Associate Location:Argento Head Office, Belfast BT4 Contract:Permanent,40 hours contract, typical week Monday Friday 0800 1630, however, during peak trading times, hours will vary and will include day, evening and weekend shifts.We therefore require candidates who will be flexible to work additional hours during peak trading times. Hourly Rate: £12.45 per hour Benefits: Free carparking Uniform Kitchen area with facilities Generous staff discount (after 3-month service) NEST pension scheme Regular incentives and staff events Opportunities for career progression Job Summary Our site is not your typical warehouse, it does not require using forklifts, wearing safety boots etc however it may involve heavy lifting, unloading / loading vehicles, a lot of walking and climbing of steps, lifting and carrying boxes, standing for long periods of time when picking items, and good dexterity helps when packing orders. Product care and accuracy are key in these roles, to ensure we provide amazing service to our customers. No previous experience is required, our friendly team will provide you with training, you will also have a buddy to support you during your first few weeks. What does the role involve? Argento are passionate about providing really great service to our Stores and customers, and this role will be to support our retail operations, carrying out various tasks including, warehouse stock administration, receiving goods in, dispatching, manual handling, stock replenishment, communicating with stores regarding store courier requests, store packaging requests, ordering packaging from suppliers, transfers and use of inhouse systems. You will also be liaising with marketing on collating display and sales graphics. Other duties will include, assisting with online dispatch orders, picking and packing, engraving customer orders.So, we are looking for enthusiastic and passionate staff who can work to high standards with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. This role requires all staff to carry out engraving responsibilities, for which full training will be provided. This involves meticulous engraving of intricate designs or messages onto jewellery in line with customer requests, brand guidelines and company procedures. What youll do: Efficiently and effectively receiving & storing goods inwards following Argento's internal processes and procedures Accepting and Recording Courier deliveries on inhouse systems Manual handling, unpacking deliveries of stock and packaging and ensuring errors are reported directly to line manager. Keeping records on packaging and placing orders for packaging with certain brands, liaising with line management at all times to ensure sufficient packaging on site at all times Storing all packaging onsite and ensure accurate records are updated continuously on inhouse systems Accurately and efficiently process all store packaging requests received from stores, ensure all tasks are prioritised and completed within expected timescales Assist with the online orders, including picking and packing, replenishment, manual handling, stock control and use of inhouse systems, ensure all tasks are prioritised and completed within expected timescales, following brand packaging guidelines, checking and spotting errors and reporting to the Supervisor Carry out detailed engraving on jewellery, in line with customer requirements, brand guidelines and company procedures, creating high-quality engravings on jewellery items using various tools and techniques. Read and interpret engraving requests and design specifications to determine the appropriate engraving to be made, ensuring that all finished products meet quality and accuracy standards Assist in the development of new engraving designs and patterns, with continuous improvement of our service, keeping ahead of competitors Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of engraving tools and equipment Follow health and safety, fire safety and housekeeping guidelines and standards, ensuring all waste is disposed of safely and in line with company process This list of duties is not exhaustive and may include other duties from time to time to meet operational needs Essential Skills and experience required: GCSE Math and English (or equivalent) Previous experience in a similar role within the retail sector would be an advantage Ability to comply with health and safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment Computer literate with experience of using Microsoft Office packages including excel and email Time management ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work efficiently and effectively, using product number and codes Organisation and interpersonal skills to allow effective collaboration with colleagues and other departments on various engraving projects Proactive and capable of working under minimum supervision Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team Well presented with a positive, pro-active and professional approach Flexibility both in duties within the team and in hours of work to ensure that business needs are met (additional hours during peak trading times) Right To Work Documents (UK Citizens - Passport or Birth Certificate & NI / All other Citizens - Copy of Sharecode Document.
