Warehouse Operative - Temporary Contract
Location: EX16, Tiverton Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (7.5 hours/day with 30 min unpaid lunch) Contract Duration: October to December 19th
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking reliable and hard-working Warehouse Operatives to join our client on a temporary basis. You'll play a key role in ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently
Loading and unloading deliveries
Checking incoming goods against delivery notes
Labelling and storing items correctly
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Assisting with stock takes and inventory checks as needed
Performing general warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements:
Good level of physical fitness - ability to lift and move items safely
Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Attention to detail and good organisational skills
Reliable, punctual, and hard-working attitude
Contract Details:
Temporary Position: From start of October until Thursday, December 19th
Monday to Friday - No weekend work
37.5 hours per week
