We are currently recruiting talented Inspection Warehouse Operatives to join our team at the DEFRA site in Sevington, Ashford. Full time on-going work 4on4off rota, both day & night shifts available. Days - £12.81ph, Nights - £14.09ph overtime paid 1.5x.

Key responsibilities will include:

Responsible for the day-to-day operational functionality and performance of the inspection operations from off-load from trailers to presentation for inspection and reload on to trailers.

Loading and unloading lorries including manual handling, using roller cages and other MHE Undertaking manual and/or electronic reporting requirements as requested Take instruction from our on-site partners to support the inspection process Updating the PINC Yard Management System following training Carry out operational tasks to achieve departmental and site objectives Maintain the inspection environment following training COSHH Awareness following training Assist drivers locating bays, support drivers in direction to bays and offices Champion a health and safety culture The ideal candidate will have:
