Job role            Warehouse Operative\n\nLocation            Waltham Abbey - Essex\n\nHours of work  FULL TIME HOURS -Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00 (contracted 37.5 hours per week)\n\nAbout our client\n\nCentric Talent is currently recruiting for Warehouse Operative to join our clients team at their warehouse in Waltham Abbey.\nOur client is one of the UK's leading suppliers of bathroom, kitchen and plumbing products, supplying products to retailers up and down the UK.\n\nJob overview\n\nYou will play a vital role in maintaining accurate stock levels across our national distribution network. Your focus will be on data accuracy, supporting warehouse operations, and resolving discrepancies quickly and efficiently to ensure the smooth running of the supply chain.\n\nStructure:\n\nThis role will report to the warehouse Manager but will have a close relationship with all other shift patterns.\n\nThe ideal person:\n\n· Proactive and analytical\n· Thrives in a fast-paced environment\n· Confident working with stock systems, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy in reporting\n· Excellent communication skills, be confident working across department\n· Strong attention to detail\n· Experience in computer-based operations (WMS) an advantage\n\nKey activities and responsibilities:\n\n· Co-ordinate actions from mailbox and escalate to appropriate team\n· Responsible for mailbox management\n· Stationery management\n· Scanning & emailing Daily delivery notes & manifests to the appropriate departments\n· Investigation into ongoing failed tickets\n· Investigation into stock discrepancies\n· Perpetual Inventory Checks\n· Produce and distribute daily/weekly stock reports for internal departments\n· Customer Collections process\n\nExperience and education:\n\n· Previous experience in Warehouse operations\n· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems\n· numeracy and analytical skills\n· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy\n· Strong organisational and communication skills\n· GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English; further education in business administration or logistics is an advantage\n\nBenefits\n\n· 23 days Holiday - increasing to 25 after 2 years\n\nIf you feel you have the relevant experience then we\'d love to hear from you.  Apply today!
