Our Fulbourn branch are now seeking a Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver for our Day Shift. Your role will be divided into three areas; warehouse, driving and office based. You’ll be responsible for picking, packing, and delivering 7,000 pieces per annum, driving approximately 30% of shift (up to 20 drops per shift) to a customer base of about 50 sites. You’ll ensure the highest possible level of service to our customers. Receiving deliveries from the European Distribution Centre and putting stock away in the correct location, you’ll pick customer orders and load relevant vehicles in accordance with a delivery schedule. When delivering, you’ll ensure all glass is delivered in a suitable condition and in a timely manner. When in the office, you’ll answer calls from customers and raise orders on a bespoke in-house system. You’ll liaise with customers at the counter, take monies and provide receipts, as well as order glass through the European Distribution Centre. This is an incredibly varied role!
