Overview Warehouse Manager Wanted. Lead, optimise, and excel in warehouse operations at BPC Building Products. Location: Wakefield WF2 9LP Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the full scope of warehouse operations — ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement throughout.
Overseeing goods inward processes, including inspection and receipt of stock. Managing stock control and inventory accuracy to minimise discrepancies. Leading pick, pack, and despatch operations to meet customer delivery expectations. Coordinating logistics and outbound shipments to ensure on-time and secure delivery. Providing leadership and development for a high-performing warehouse team. Establishing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure success. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimise performance. Maintaining health, safety, and compliance standards across all operations.
About You You'll be a proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You bring both strategic thinking and practical experience to deliver exceptional results.
Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management. Strong leadership and team development abilities. In-depth knowledge of stock control systems and logistics processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. A focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. A strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
