Join to apply for the Warehouse Manager role at Azenta Life SciencesAzenta Life Sciences specialises in the design and manufacture of high quality consumables and sealing solutions for molecular biology.Responsibilities:Become the lead representative for the warehouse for the transition to the new Oracle MRP/ERP SystemEnsure an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfil operational and customer demandProvide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are always understood and practiced by the teamPlan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goodsDrive a zero-tolerance mindset for deviation from the use of quality processes to ensure customer deliverables are met fullyMonitor and ensure accuracy of all inventory transactions and maintain records of all stockroom locations.Plan future capacity requirementsEnsure the relevance and accuracy of all documentation relating to goods in and goods out including labeling of all stock itemsIdentify any systems improvements and drive through recommendations for changeEnsure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include layout and future capacity requirementsDevelop and maintain metrics/KPIs, reports, process documentation, customer service logs and training and safety recordsCreate policies and procedures for warehouse activities and ensure all systems meet the standards for accreditation in line with the quality systemsContinuously review ways to aid efficiency, add value and reduce costs as well as delivering continuous improvement initiativesCreate and implement best practice warehousing principles, policies and processesQualifications & Experience:Experience in a warehouse supervisory / manager role essentialProven knowledge of warehouse policies and proceduresExcellent problem-solving skillsAble to work with all levels of staffProven Supervisory / Management skills, and an ability to demonstrate effective leadershipQuality, Health and Safety skillsTraining, organizing and planning skillsAbility to build and lead a strong, cohesive team.
