OverviewWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a leading distributor based in Middlesbrough, overseeing operations across four warehouses within a 15‑mile radius in the Teesside area.This is a key leadership role where you'll be responsible for driving efficiency, leading teams, ensuring compliance, and supporting the wider operational objectives of the business.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily warehouse operations including goods in, storage, and dispatchManage and optimise warehouse layout and stock controlLead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams across all sitesEnsure all goods are handled, stored, and repacked safely and in line with company proceduresMaintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and compliance purposesCollaborate with suppliers and customers to manage delivery schedules and expectationsMonitor KPIs, operational performance, and manage warehouse budgetsIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service levelsEnsure Health & Safety standards are met and champion best practices across all locationsContribute to wider business goals through effective warehouse operationsRequirementsPrevious experience in warehouse management across multiple sitesProven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teamsStrong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and distributionCommercial awareness with experience managing budgets and driving performanceHigh attention to detail and a calm, solution-focused approach under pressureExcellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skillsStrong working knowledge of Health & Safety regulationsProficiency in IT systems, including warehouse management systems (WMS)What’s on OfferCompetitive salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)Monday to Friday working hours (9am-5pm)Leadership role with autonomy across multiple warehouse locationsOpportunity to join a growing and respected business in the logistics sector #J-18808-Ljbffr
