Hours:
37.5 hours per week (Flexible start, Mon-Thurs 9-3, Fri 9-11)
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Contract: 12-month FTC

About the Role
Are you a proactive individual looking for an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career within a Global organisation? We're seeking Warehouse Interns to join a dynamic team within the Engineering / Manufacturing sector. This is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on experience across multiple departments, supporting Logistics, Goods-In / Out, Supply Chain & Planning teams for a busy manufacturing centre in the heart of Barrow-in-Furness.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Logistics & Planning teams with Supply Chain projects & Warehouse activities.
  • Coordinate with shop floor teams to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Work under the guidance of experienced professionals, gaining exposure to a range of engineering disciplines including planning, project management & supply chain.
  • Compile reports, chase deliverables, and maintain project timelines.

What You Bring:
  • A vocational qualification in a relevant subject is advantageous but by no means essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work closely with both shop floor teams and senior management.
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing project needs.

Please Note:

This role is based on-site in Barrow-in-Furness. Candidates must be willing to relocate for the duration of the internship. While no relocation support is provided, SLB can assist with local contacts and onboarding advice.
