Warehouse & Customer Care Operative
Specialising in picking, packing, quality control, customer care, and returns management, you will be an integral part of our logistics and customer experience team. Your primary responsibilities will include selecting, packing, inspecting products, handling customer queries, and processing returns to ensure customers receive flawless products and exceptional service on time. This role is vital in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse, resolving customer issues efficiently, and upholding our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Picking: Efficiently and accurately pick items from the warehouse shelves according to customer orders using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Packing: Safely and neatly pack items in appropriate packaging materials to ensure products are protected during transit. Label and seal packages ready for shipment.
- Quality Control (QC): Inspect products before packing to ensure they meet the brand's quality standards. Identify and report any defects, damages, or discrepancies. Ensure only high-quality items are shipped to customers.
- Returns Management: Process customer returns promptly, inspect returned items for compliance with our policy, update inventory, and arrange replacements or refunds as needed.
- Customer Care Support: Assist with customer queries via email, phone, or online platforms, providing timely updates on orders, returns, and general product enquiries. Resolve issues to maintain excellent customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stock control and inventory management, including stock checks and replenishment of picking areas.
- Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring they are correctly labelled and meet all shipping requirements. Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse operatives, management, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.

- Experience: Previous experience in picking and packing orders, or working in an e-commerce or fashion environment, would be an advantage.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow instructions and work with precision, especially in inspecting products for quality.
- Quality Focus: An eye for detail in identifying product defects and ensuring high standards are maintained before shipping.
- Customer Service: Ability to assist customers with queries professionally, resolve issues effectively, and maintain a positive brand image through courteous communication.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Tech-Savvy: Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems or handheld scanners is a plus.
