The Opportunity:

Our client is a Hong Kong-based trading company seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Manager to lead operations at their newly established warehouse in Southeast London. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong balance of warehouse oversight, logistics coordination, and operational team development.


The Role:

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including the handling and storage of a diverse product range such as high-value and perishable luxury goods.
  • Oversee global inventory and goods flow, ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency across multiple warehouse locations.
  • Design and execute logistics strategies involving complex arrangements such as import/export processes, chartered flights, and escorted shipments.
  • Conduct due diligence and ensure compliance with customs and transit procedures, particularly for bonded warehouses.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international logistics partners and vendors.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders across time zones.
  • Ensure operations meet all regulatory and compliance standards, with a particular focus on security, confidentiality, and storage conditions for high-value items.
  • Lead and grow the local warehouse team, and coordinate closely with overseas teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to review workflows and identify logistics/warehouse system requirements.


The Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end logistics operations including inventory control, stock movement, and dispatch coordination.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable working with operational data and reports.
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and adaptable to changing business needs.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with international logistics or multi-country warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with bonded warehouse processes and customs clearance requirements.
  • Background in handling logistics for high-value goods.
