An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing, market-leading engineering and manufacturing group with ambitious expansion plans.

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse & Distribution Manager to take ownership of warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution across a fast-paced production environment.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of materials — from raw components through to finished goods — supporting both Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage day-to-day warehouse activity, ensure stock accuracy, and drive improvements in efficiency, delivery performance, and operational flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations (goods in, storage, picking, packing, dispatch)
• Maintain accurate inventory control across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring on-time delivery
• Lead stock takes, cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure ERP/MRP system accuracy and material traceability
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse/distribution management within manufacturing
• Strong inventory control and stock management experience
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Organised, detail-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
