The role focuseson providing technical supply-chain support, ensuring the accuracy of support documentation, and contributing to the smooth transition of programmes into sustainment.Key Responsibilities:Actastheinitialpointofcontactfortechnicalsupply-chainqueriesrelatingtoaircraftpartsand their usage.ReviewLogisticSupportAnalysis(LSA)updatesfollowingbaselinechangesandadvisethe supply-chain team on any resulting spares amendments.Examinetechnicaldocumentationtohelpidentifysuitablealternativesforlonglead-time spares.Contributetocontingencyplanningandensureprogrammesareeffectivelypreparedfor sustainment phases.WorkcloselywiththeLSAandTechnicalPublicationsteamstoensureaircraftdocumentationis updated accurately.CollaboratewithProductSupportEngineerstoresolveearly-stagetechnicalissues.Mentorsupply-chainpersonnelinunderstandingandinterpretingtechnicalinformation.SupportthereviewofMaintenanceTaskAnalysisandvendordatatoinformprogramme- specific Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).DesiredSkills,ExperienceandQualifications:Knowledgeofsupportengineeringwithinmilitaryordefenceenvironments.Experienceinsupply-chainengineeringorlogisticssupportanalysis.Abilitytointerpretaircraftdrawingsandtechnicaldocumentation.Competenceinusingaircraftdocumentsetsandcontributingtosupport-product documentation.Adegreeorequivalentqualificationinarelevantengineeringdisciplineisdesirablebutnot mandatory.Appropriateprofessionalcertificationsorequivalentexperiencefromanaccreditedinstitution.Note:Sadly,sponsorshipcannotbeprovided.JBRP1_UKTJ
