We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Manchester, who are recruiting for a permanent Maintenance Technician and Warehouse Manager to work for an estates management arm within a Housing Association. The position is due to start in October, with a salary banding of £40,014 - £43,954 per annum. The ideal candidate will experience and relevant NVQ in the maintenance of plant or vehicle machinery, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and basic IT skills. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Maintaining two stroke and four stroke equipment used for grounds maintenance, servicing up to 150 pieces of machinery per annum Carrying out minor repairs to vehicle and associated equipment as required, fixing things such as mirrors, window blades etc. Planning the cyclical servicing of equipment, using bespoke databases Ordering stock and supplies for operatives such as PPE Organising a fleet of vehicles, including EVs, for servicing and MoTs Completing daily checks of the warehouse, and reporting any issues to the facilities management team Experience required: Experience in machine servicing, ideally plant equipment or similar Experience organising works Skills, knowledge and expertise required: The successful candidate must be highly organised, able to work alone and part of a team<...
