Introduction

Alexander Steele are supporting an FMCG business to recruit a Logistics Coordinator to support day‑to‑day logistics and fulfilment operations for imported products. The role sits at the centre of the supply chain, coordinating orders, transport, inventory visibility, and third‑party logistics partners across retail, wholesale, catering, OEM, and e‑commerce channels. This is a fast‑paced, multi‑3PL environment requiring strong coordination and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

* Process and manage daily customer orders

* Coordinate order fulfilment with third‑party warehouses

* Reconcile dispatch notes, delivery confirmations, and invoices

* Coordinate inbound and outbound transport, including chilled and frozen movements

* Ensure deliveries meet customer booking rules and cut‑off requirements

* Maintain visibility of stock across multiple 3PLs and in‑transit locations

* Support stock reconciliations, discrepancy investigations, and issue escalation

* Monitor stock age, shelf life, and product integrity

* Maintain Excel‑based tracking for stock, shortages, and risks

* Support planning and decision‑making with accurate supply and demand data

Required Experience

* Experience working with logistics in a 3PL‑based operation

* Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

* Confident Excel and data handling skills

* Experience in order processing

* Strong coordination and communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
