Inbound Operations Manager - Parts Distribution
Sheffield | £50,000 + benefits
Permanent | Full-time | On-site

The role:
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll be responsible for all inbound activity across a busy distribution centre, managing everything from container arrivals and goods receipt to putaway, space management, and supplier issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the inbound team and setting daily priorities
  • Ensuring timely, accurate booking-in and stock handling
  • Liaising with suppliers and hauliers to coordinate deliveries
  • Driving process improvement across receiving, QC, and putaway
  • Working closely with inventory and purchasing to flag discrepancies and shortages
  • Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld at all times

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain environment
  • Strong understanding of parts, inventory, or technical products
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, high-SKU environment
  • Confident using ERP or WMS systems (ideally barcoding/scanning)
  • A hands-on, solutions-focused approach - someone who can spot an issue and sort it
  • Based in or commutable to Sheffield
