M4 Recruitment are working with a leading metal distributor who are expanding the team in Basingstoke. We are looking for Warehouse/forklift Operatives to start asap! Key Responsibilities Picking and Packing: Accurately selecting and packing various metal items according to order specifications, ensuring they are ready for dispatch. Labelling and checking quantityof stock and filling in paperwork. Operating warehouse machinery, in particular the Counterbalance Forklift. (preferred not essential) Following Instructions: Adhering to, order details, and general warehouse procedures. Teamwork and Independence: Working effectively both as part of a team to achieve common goals and independently when required to complete individual tasks. General Warehouse Duties: Undertaking a range of warehouse tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the facility. This includes maintaining tidiness, organizing stock, and other related duties. Heavy Lifting: Performing tasks that may involve some heavy lifting of metal items, up to 25kg.
