Job Purpose:
To support daily yard operations through safe and efficient forklift use, preparation of equipment, and general maintenance tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring the timely and high-quality fulfilment of customer requirements while upholding company health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prioritise daily work activities in line with instructions from the Operations or Service Manager.
* Attend daily morning meetings with the Operations Manager to plan and coordinate workload.
* Support the implementation and continual improvement of the company’s safety, quality, and environmental management systems.
* Assist with general yard operations as required by the Operations Manager.
* Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements, including company HSEQ Policies, Procedures, and Risk Assessments.
* Prepare CCUs, transportable chemical tanks, and Helifuel tanks for dispatch.
* Prepare tanks and units for Proof Load Testing, MPI, and third-party inspections.
* Perform minor maintenance and repairs to CCUs and tanks under the guidance of the Operations Manager.
* Maintain cleanliness and general order across the yard, including care of all plant, tools, and equipment.
* Support the wash bay operations to maintain a stock of clean tanks ready for customer use.
