Job Overview
We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Yard/Warehouse Operative to join our team. This hands-on role involves working both indoors and outdoors, supporting warehouse operations, managing stock, and maintaining a safe, organised yard area. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload deliveries using appropriate equipment
- Organise and maintain stock in the warehouse and yard
- Pick and prepare orders accurately and on time
- Keep the yard clean, safe, and well-organised
- Carry out regular stock checks and report discrepancies
- Operate forklifts or other machinery (if trained/licensed)
- Follow all health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse or yard role
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
