Manpower are recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader covering nights for our client in DE74.

The Warehouse Shift Team Leader is a first line management role with responsibility for a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring that customer freight is loaded and unloaded safely and in accordance with appropriate work instructions and strategies. As part of the leadership team you are required to communicate effectively with your teams in order to ensure they understand process / current priorities, are aware of new initiatives and alert to safety or quality issues.

Main Duties:

Operations : Ensure that freight is loaded, unloaded and administered in accordance with the warehouse operational procedures and within the defined timeframe. People : Ensure that their teams are competent and regularly updated on performance, safety and other relevant issues. Carry out investigations and counselling's in line with policies to support the Shift Manager. Compliance : Management of warehouse resources in accordance with procedures and the Law. Particular care should be taken to ensure that Dangerous Goods are administered and loaded in a compliant manner.
