My client, a great international business that has been very fortunate and business is in high demand, which is amazing, so they need a superstar to assist the team with the pressures of stock movement into the warehouse and forecast planning for customer orders.We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plan Manager to oversee and optimise their logistics and supply chain operations.The position is an 80-20 split between office ordering FMCG goods from the Far East/Forecasting to support and assisting the warehouse and shipping teams.Effectively, this is a warehouse stock manager role but fully office based.Your main priority will be once the orders are confirmed for the customer services team, you will schedule the orders onto the internal databases, looking at forecasting and shipments of orders determine the correct timescales to ensure customer lead times are met you will then send the schedule of the stock arriving to the warehouse making sure you have the teams theory to manage the imports arriving into the warehouse.We need you to be confident using Excel as the majority of your role will be managing manipulating data and using excel for reporting and forecasting orders for customers.If there are any delays, you will assist the warehouse teams and try to maintain delivery deadlines.ResponsibilitiesUtilise ERP systems for effective inventory management and reportingEnsure compliance with supply chain regulations and best practicesManage warehouse operations including shipping & receiving processesKnowledgeable in warehouse management systems, shipping & receiving protocols, and inventory controlBackground in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields is essentialSuper opportunity for someone looking for a career within supply chain a great team offering excellent industry knowledge to learn from and really build this into a niche role for yourself.You will also book in goods that arrive onto site into the databases, liaison with both the customer support and warehouse stemas throughout the order processes.Interviews are happening now with an immediate start date.We are looking for a methodical, hands-on candidate.Experience using a computerised stock system is essential for this role as well and a sound understand of warehouse and logistics processes.QualificationsExperience in logistics, purchasing, warehouse and goods in or stores environment is beneficialProficiency in Excel for data manipulation, reporting and forecastingExperience with computerised stock systems and ERP/WMSStrong understanding of warehouse and logistics processesAbout the recruiterLisaFARR AssociatesRecruitment Specialist #J-18808-Ljbffr
