Role Overview An experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance licence is required to join a small, busy warehousing team within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support day-to-day warehouse operations, material handling, and occasional local deliveries and collections. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Loading and unloading deliveries using a Counterbalance FLT * Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch * Booking goods in and out of the warehouse * Processing delivery notes, despatch notes, and general warehouse paperwork * Stock control and safe storage of materials * Supporting production with materials handling as required * Assisting with local deliveries and collections when necessary * Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment * Working collaboratively within a small team and supporting colleagues where needed Candidate Requirements * Previous warehouse experience * Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence with practical operating experience * Full, clean UK driving licence * Computer literate (able to process paperwork and basic systems use) * Ability to work efficiently in a busy warehouse environment * Strong team player with a flexible and helpful attitude * Good attention to detail and organisational skills Desirable (but not essential) * Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment * Knowledge of stock control procedures Personal Attributes * Reliable and punctual * Safety conscious * Self-motivated with a positive attitude * Willingness to support wider warehouse and production activities Immediate opportunity with a well-established business with a small, friendly team
