Frontline Recruitment Weymouth is currently seeking a Logistics Operative to join our client's team based in Weymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a fast-paced logistics operation supporting production and global distribution.
Role Overview:
As a Logistics Operative, you will work within the logistics team, handling a variety of tasks such as receiving materials, stock handling, kitting for production, and shipping to customers or global warehouses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive and process material deliveries, including unloading and loading bulky or palletised goods.
* Control and maintain packing materials and accessories for printers and finished goods.
* Prepare packing materials and pack printers in line with company specifications.
* Kit and issue stock to support production demands.
* Locate and manage inventory within the company’s MRP system.
* Act as a banks-person for the safe loading and unloading of vehicles.
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free work environment.
* Adhere to all company procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift/counterbalance licence.
* Previous experience in inventory or stock control.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
