Job Type: Warehouse Manager Location: Basingstoke Salary Range: 35,000 - 40,000 Permanent role An exciting opportunity to join a business at a time of growth and development. This is a warehouse fulfilment business that also has a manufacturing / production division based in Basingstoke. They are seeking an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager to oversee operations within their sleeving and fulfilment business. This role involves ensuring efficient warehouse processes, transport scheduling, stock control and the timely supply of materials to the production division. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Management
Oversee day to day warehouse operations, ensuring goods are stored, handled and dispatched to company and client standards. Implement effective stock control, inventory management and cycle counting processes. Maintain safe, efficient and clean warehouse environment with best practice. Lead warehouse teams ensuring productivity, accuracy and quality.
Servicing Production
Ensuring production is supplied with the right materials at the right times to achieve schedules and customer expectations. Coordinate material movements, preventing shortages and delays. Maintain accurate materials usage and stock level records. Work with production for forecasting and planning.
Logistics and Transport Scheduling
Manage transport planning and scheduling for inbound and outbound deliveries.
Compliance and Food Safety
Ensure warehouse and logistics activities comply with food safety standards, HACCP and customer requirements.
Leadership and People Management
Lead, train and motivate warehouse and logistics staff.
Process and continuous improvement
Develop and implement standard operation procedures across warehouse and logistics functions.
Skills and experience required
Experience of Mintsoft (highly sought). Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, ideally in fulfilment, packaging, or food related sectors. Strong knowledge of transport scheduling, stock control, and material flow to production. Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams. UK Driving Licence essential.
