Position: Warehouse ManagerLocation: CaerphillySalary: 36,000Job OverviewThis role is essential to the smooth and efficient running of operations. The Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse activities, ensuring that resources are managed effectively, production or dispatch plans are delivered on time, and high standards of quality, safety, and compliance are maintained.ResponsibilitiesLead and motivate a team across warehouse shifts to meet daily targets.Coordinate staff activities to ensure operational efficiency.Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive working culture.Ensure all staff follow safe systems of work and wear correct PPE.Always maintain a safe and compliant working environment.Ensure that work areas meet audit and inspection standards.Uphold company standards for product handling, storage, and documentation.Report and manage non-conformances in line with quality procedures.Conduct and support internal audits as required.Ensure that all documentation and checklists are completed accurately.Oversee inbound and outbound goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Manage stock levels and work closely with the administration and logistics teams.Liaise with external storage or transport providers where necessary.Identify opportunities for process and performance improvements.Support and implement improvement initiatives across the department.Maintain a "clean as you go" mindset to ensure operational excellence.RequirementsProven experience in warehouse or operations management.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to work independently and make effective decisions.Good understanding of warehouse systems and stock control.Flexible and proactive approach to work.Committed to maintaining quality and safety standards.IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification is desirable.ILM or similar leadership training is desirable.Salary & BenefitsSalary circa 36,000Full benefits to be discussed #J-18808-Ljbffr
