PE Global is recruiting a Warehouse Associate for our oil and gas client NOV based in Montrose. The role is an initial 12-month contract and the rate for this role is £12.50 p/hour.

Mon - Thu & 4hrs Sat, Hours: 07.00 - 16.00.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in workshops, storage areas, and locker rooms
• Operate overhead gantry cranes, forklifts, and side loaders as required
• Power wash equipment and assist painters/blasters when needed
• Manage on-time deliveries and pick-ups
• Empty swarf, material off-cuts, and waste containers as needed
• Ensure a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
• Move components efficiently to maximise workflow across workstations
• Accurately complete timesheets/Kronos entries and submit them to the Fabrication Lead
• Follow and promote all company policies, including health & safety, quality, and housekeeping
• Identify and report health & safety risks; suggest improvements
• Conduct material movements according to safe working practices
• Minimise waste through efficient use/disposal of raw materials and consumables
• Stay familiar and compliant with all departmental and company procedures
• Collaborate with and support other departments, including machine operators and management

Requirements:

• Valid B1 forklift licence from an accredited provider (in-date and highly recommended)
• Experience in industrial or workshop environments, including housekeeping, manual handling, and equipment operation
• Ability to operate overhead gantry cranes, forklifts, and power washing equipment
• Strong awareness of health & safety practices, including 5S and safe material movement procedures
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, support workflow efficiency, and work collaboratively across teams
