Job Title: Warehouse Order Picker

Location: Brighouse, HD6

Job Type: Irregular hours (minimum of 15 per week)

Department: Warehouse & Logistics

Rate of Pay: £15 per hour (includes £13.38 base rate + £1.62 rolled-up holiday pay)

(+£2.50 hourly premium on Saturdays subject to performance targets met and shift availability)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker to join a warehouse team that supports fast growing business Mighty Kids Supplements (mightykidssupplements.co.uk). The Picker will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, and ensuring efficiency and quality in the fulfilment process.

Shift Times:

Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 15:30

Saturday: 9:30 - 14:00

(These may be part of full shifts depending on business need and your availability)

Please note: As an irregular hours worker you will only be guaranteed 15 hours per week, but may be offered 40+ depending on business fluctuations, depending on your performance level.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately pick products from cases based on the description and quantities provided on the packing slips. These products can appear similar so attention to detail is a must.

- Build parcel boxes, pack, label, and prepare orders onto cages for shipping with the courier.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow safety procedures and warehouse guidelines at all times

- Meet productivity and quality targets

Job Requirements:

- Previous warehouse or order-picking experience is preferred but not required.

- Ability to lift up to 25kg and stand/walk for extended periods.

- Basic maths and English aptitude

- Good attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime if needed

As part of our hiring process, we ask candidates to complete a brief online assessment designed to reflect key skills used in the role. The assessment includes four short tests:

- Basic numeracy (10 minutes)

- Warehouse task simulation (10 minutes)

- Textual attention to detail (12 minutes)

- Visual attention to detail (10 minutes)

Total time: approx. 40–45 minutes. You can take the tests at your convenience, but we recommend completing them within 48 hours. Please note that we will not be able to consider your application unless these tests have been completed with all instructions having been followed.
