Hales Group are working with a fun and friendly new client based in Attleborough, Norfolk, assisting them in seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Assistant to support day-to-day logistics and materials handling in a busy carpentry manufacturing environment. The role is hands-on and varied, requiring someone with a good understanding of workshop operations, stock control, and a strong commitment to health and safety. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth workflow across production, dispatch, and delivery processes.  Warehouse Assistant Responsibilities:   Receive deliveries and check them against purchase orders for accuracy. Safely unload and store raw materials, fixings, sheet timber, and manufactured items. Prepare finished goods for dispatch, ensuring packaging and documentation are correct. Monitor stock levels and notify operations teams of low inventory. Organise and maintain accurate inventory records. Conduct regular stock checks and audits. Operate the Container Management System (CMS) & Project software systems. Move materials and components between departments (e.g., from warehouse to workshop).
